A lifetime in furniture, now under new ownership.
From a fifteen-year-old on the delivery truck to the owner of the Seneca showroom, here is the story behind the store and the man who runs it.
“I started as a delivery guy when I was fifteen years old. I started my internship in design at eighteen, and I was doing lead design by my late twenties.”

Some people fall into furniture. Kent grew up in it. He learned the business the honest way, carrying it through front doors, setting it in real rooms, and watching what made a customer’s face light up when a space finally came together.
That early start on the truck turned into a design internship, and the internship turned into a career. By his late twenties he was leading design, choosing the pieces, planning the layouts, and pairing the fabrics and finishes that turn a pile of furniture into a room that feels like home.
In April 2026, Kent took ownership of the Seneca showroom. The plan was simple: carry more of the brands people actually trust, give away the design help instead of charging for it, and treat every person who walks in like a neighbor. As he puts it: “We are here to help our customers any way we can.”

From the truck to the keys
First job on the delivery truck
Learned the business from the tailgate up: every piece, every doorway, every customer's living room.
Internship in design
Traded the dolly for the drawing board and started learning what actually makes a room work.
Leading design
Running rooms for clients across the Upstate: layout, scale, fabric, finish, the whole picture.
Took ownership
Bought the Seneca showroom to do it his way: more brands, free design, and a genuinely warm welcome.
Come say hello.
Stop in, sit down, and tell Kent about the room you have in mind. No pressure, just good furniture and honest help.
